Just two miles away from us is Taughannock State Park featuring Taughannock Falls. This amazing place has a 215 foot-high waterfall and is a great destination for hiking, swimming, boating, cross-country skiing, skating, and sledding. Here you will find Cayuga Lake, which is the best fishing spot in the entire Finger Lakes National Forest.
Just ten miles away from the inn, you will find fun boutiques and artisan stores for shopping, local restaurants that are well-known for their fine dining and the Hangar Theatre. The nearby state park offers swimming, a boat marina, lots of hiking and picnic areas, and skating. Ithaca is home to Ithaca College, Cornell University, and Johnson’s Art Museum. Watkins Glen State Park
Take time to see Watkins Glen State Park, which you will find only two miles from The Inn at Gothic Eves. This park is the most popular of the state parks in the region. The path of this stunning gorge winds under and over waterfalls, and through Cavern Cascade. Rim trails provide a stunning view as they overlook the gorge. The stream generates 19 waterfalls as it descends over cliffs 200 feet high, traveling over 400 feet.
